Just the other day we were moaning about how the stars had seemingly deserted the red carpet in favour of sunning themselves on a tropical beach. Maybe they heard us because now we can't get away from pics of stylish celebs frolicking at an awards bash! Not that we're complaining, of course. The more pretty dresses the better!
Both Kirsten Dunst and Chloe Moretz opted for black fancy frocks. Chloe paired her Chanel number with delicate Rupert Sanderson heels while Kirsten chose a sheer Christian Dior dress and sturdy Jimmy Choo sandals. Hollywood glam Harry Winston earrings added sparkle.
More black frocks, this time floor length. True Blood vamp, Evan Rachel Wood swept up in a strapless Valentino gown and Dana Rebecca Anna studs. Charlize Theron looked stunning in her Azzedine Alaia tiered dress with Bvlgari jewels.
Diane Kruger and Elle Fanning thankfully brought some sunshine to the event with sunny yellow dresses. We loved Diane's Prada frock, the shoulder-baring halterneck is going to be huge next season. Fuchsia lips and a matching clutch added a gorge splash of colour. Young starlet Elle didn't fare as well in her printed Rodarte number. The shapeless dress drowned her petite frame.
Red-haired Emma Stone stuck to her winning emerald formula in a Jason Wu gown. If it ain't broke...! We're not sure about Michelle Williams' Chanel dress. On the one hand it is elegant and chic, on the other it kind of looks like she has left another skirt on underneath.
