Eeeek! This makes us very happy indeed. GQ magazine has announced Tinie Tempah as their best-dressed bloke for 2012 which means our not-so-Tinie crush on the singer is totally justified. As if it ever wasn't! It also means when we tell the boys in our life to ramp up their style-game and let a little bow tie action into their lives, they can’t argue!
Last year it was curly-haired actor Aaron Johnson who walked away with the sharp suited crown but for 2012, the best-dressed list was given a shake-up and Aaron lost his shiny spot to the dapper rapper with a penchant for preppy.
Celebs and fashion experts who put the list together said Mr Tempah had “true passion for elegance and proportions.” No argument from us!
After his nuptials to Kate Middleton in 2011 poor old Prince William has completely disappeared from the list. Was his groom get-up not good enough? Cripes. Even his dad, Prince Charles, is on the list. He just about made it at number 50.
Strangely (though, perhaps only for us) Manchester City footy player Mario Balotelli came 2nd. Maybe his off-pitch threads are something to behold? We’ll certainly be keeping an eye out… Plus, it’ll make having to sit through 90 minutes of football more enjoyable! Mario even beat Mr all-round-smart-David Beckham who stumped for number 13.
Twilight’s yummy vamp Robert Pattinson scored high with his number 4 place, just pipping Spiderman star Andrew Garfield. We have to say, we’re a bit gutted our Sherlock Holmes crush Benedict Cumberbatch only to at number 40. What’s going on? We LOVE his swishy coats!
