We hate to sound like our mother but we are very bemused about how Katy managed to walk onto the red carpet last night in her new A/W '11 Alexander McQueen wedges. Mind you, she is clutching onto designer friend Markus Molinari for dear life. The hinged wedges are a whopping 14cm (that's 5.5 inches) high, and look bizarrely similar to something we might find in our dad's tool box. Would you give them a go (if you had a spare £2,699 that is) heatworlders?
