Sod the battles between rival nominees, here at Star Style we were way more interested in the winner of the best looks of the night at the Oscars and our favourite war was that between the nude and natural pouts and fire engine look at me lips on the red carpet.
Over in the nude camp Diane Kruger left her lips natural and glossy, choosing to play up her eyes with smoky bronzes. Rose Byrne let her eyes be the focus too with a sexy smouldering pair and Penelope Cruz followed suit with thick and full lashes taking centre stage.
Over to the scarlet women and Miley Cyrus and January Jones both revisited classic Hollywood glamour with liquid eyeliner and lashings of red lippy. Rooney Mara went for a more modern feel, keeping the rest of her face almost totally bare.
