Chatting to ASOS magazine, the gorgeous Homeland actress said she just loves snapping up cut-price garm when out-and-about in New York.

''I'm a sales s**t. I'm just very seduced by a sale. In New York buying clothes is fun, because it really is boutiquey. I like Legacy and Opening Ceremony, and I love Prada.''

Ooookay. So maybe not so similar after all. When we go bargain hunting, we hit up River Island and Topshop, not Prada! Does this mean we can't carry on pretending to be Angela? Surely not. If it does, that big bag of plaid shirts we've just bought was a bit of a waste...

Even though the blonde star is often seen wearing stunning gowns on the red carpet, she admits her clothing fetish is a little less glamorous. Danes loves a good pair of jeans.

'I have a lot of J Brand and Citizens of Humanity jeans. It's funny with jeans now, because if they don't feel like a pair of sweatpants, I don't have patience for them anymore! I think I'm becoming increasingly lazy.''

Claire has been enjoying critical acclaim thanks to her portrayal of bipolar CIA agent Carrie in the hit show Homeland, picking up the award for Best Actress at this year's Golden Globes ceremony.
