We can't think of anyone more qualified than Jessica Simpson to design a line of stylish maternity wear. Why? Well, it felt like she was preggers FOREVER, that's why!
The blonde entrepreneur, who already has a very successful empire below her belt (so to speak), has decided to team up with Destination Maternity to create a collection of stylish frocks fit for any mumma-to-be. The collection will have a "Seventies feel" and feature lots of very comfy leggings, maxi frocks, jersey tops and knits.
Simpson told Us magazine she totes understands what it feels like to hanker for some style to cover your burgeoning bump…
"You want to wear clothes that are flattering to your baby bump; you want to show your bump off."
And what a bump she had! Jessica recently gave birth to her little bundle of joy, Maxwell Drew Johnson, after what seemed like the longest pregnancy in the history of pregnancies! Jess and her partner Eddy Johnson sold the first pics of their baby girl to People mag for a whopping $750,000! We hope Maxwell is smiling. Or at least had gas so that she looked like she was smiling.
It has been estimated that this new clothing venture could make Jess an extra $5million A YEAR. On top of the mountains of cash she currently earns for her many other business and beauty ventures.
What’s next for this mega-mogul? We’d love to see her do a turn as the American Alan Sugar on The Apprentice.
