Oooh the X Factor auditions are a mixed bag of style this year, aren't they? Remember the Cheryl/Dannii years? It was pretty difficult deciding who looked best between those two, mainly because they both looked fab. We're not quite having the same problem this year...

Tulisa, a main judge on the hit show, hit the Glasgow auditions in an outfit we'd more likely see down the local boozer. The dark-haired singer showed off her pins in a super-short peplum skirt, which she teamed with a tartan-print (patriotic) top and cropped leather jacket. Our fave thing about her look was probably the simple black heels, sorry Tulisa!
Not That Kind singer Anastacia was the latest stand-in judge to join Tulisa on the road. A bit of a funny choice for us. We understand Rita Ora (totally OTM and uber-cool) and can get our head around Nicole Scherzinger (a very hot lady. Simon-approved). We can even sort of get Geri Halliwell (the shocking amaze-factor when she climbed on the roof of the car was brilliant!) but Anastacia?! Well, if our memory serves us right, the lady does have an incredible voice...
As surprised as we were to see the blonde singer we have to say, compared to Tulisa, the 43-year-old pulled it out of the bag style-wise. Donning a clingy purple dress and black court shoes, Anastacia won this style battle for us. Just. We would have liked to see some Zara-esque tailoring going on. You know, a cream blazer some little shorts and a luxe vest. That would have been a style-win.
And can we just say - how teeny tiny is Anastacia! Even in heels.
What do you think of the latest X Factor fashion war, heatworlders?
