Dresses over trousers, skorts, leather chaps and Blossom hats… Emma Watson and co. have a LOT to answer for. Are you ready-to-wear, or just scared?

When style icon Emma Watson stepped onto the red carpet at a The Perks of Being a Wallflower screening in London last night, she didn’t just step onto the red carpet.

She stepped into a mahusive whopping great style storm (and no, we’re not being over-dramatic)

Though undeniably beautiful, stylish and everything in-between, Emma wore a dress OVER TROUSERS. A look that’s been festering at the bottom of the style Sin Bin (it’s a thing) since the early noughties.

And she’s not the only one bringing unsexy back. Kim Kardashian trod the sidewalks of Miami in a pair of SKORTS only last week. This is worse than when culottes were ‘trendy’ (1990s chat for, um, OTM).

Which got heatworld thinking (while pretending to be Carrie from SATC)…

Should Emma Watson, Kim Kardashian and co. sack their stylists? Or has the nineties style revival hit harder than we first thought – ARE velvet Blossom hats, hankerchief tops and Juicy Couture track pants stylish again?

Heatworlders, we fear they may be.

Yup, ironic hipster types are already rocking a Blossom - as made famour by Blossom in '90s hit TV show, err, Blossom.
