We don't mean to brag but last night we totally saw Geri Halliwell perform at the 2012 Breast Cancer Care Show at Grosvenor House Hotel, London. And she performed an acoustic version of Wannabe, which we're not going to lie, has made our life complete. She looked incredible, in a blush Pink tasselled mini dress and sparkly sandals. Gezza, who has been a patron of Breast Cancer Care for twelve years, tweeted the following pic of her performing, saying:
@GeriHalliwell "Amazing to perform, 1st time as a solo artist in 7 years, especially for the @BCCare inspirational people!"

We were even lucky enough to pop backstage to chat to nail expert Leighton Denny about Geri's mani and make-up. Here's his inside goss...
“To match Geri's amazing dress we decided that a more subtle look was the way to go with her nails. So after trying lots of different Pink nail colours, I decided to create a colour cocktail, this is when you layer one colour over another so it creates a bespoke shade. I took inspiration from the light Pink mini rhinestones in the centre of Geri’s dress so applied Leighton Denny Expert Nails in an opaque cream Pink, 'Three Times A Lady', to act as a base colour. I then used my subtle sparkling Pink nail colour, 'Show Off', that matched the dress perfectly working with the BCC theme. To finish this off I used my 'Crystal Finish Topcoat' to make the effect sparkle under the lights! Geri also teamed her nails with my Lip Dual 'In The Nude' for an understated pout!”
To support Breast Cancer Care, Leighton Denny is donating 15% of all sales on www.leightondenny.com in the month of October. What better reason to grab yourself some Spice Girl worthy make-up all in the name of charity?
