Girls Aloud’s style evolution in pictures! The fashion and beauty highs, lows, cornrows and all that tan (SCREAM!)

See Cheryl Cole, Kimberley Walsh, Nicola Roberts, Sarah Harding and Nadine Coyle as you’ve never seen them before!

Well, not for yonks anyway.

Like them, the chances are you’ve blocked out the dark style days of aggressive fake tans, Cheryl Cole’s cornrows, school girl uniforms, two-tone hair, crimping, cargo pants, handkerchief tops and stretch-satin frocks.

Nowadays, there’s no doubt about it – Girls Aloud are uber-famous, fashion icons in their own right.

Kimberley Walsh is Strictly stylish (in that she’s starring on the 2012 series of Strictly Come Dancing, obvs).

Fashion luvvie Nicola Roberts has her own Dainty Doll cosmetics collection, a hit debut solo album under her belt and is a London Fashion Week FROW regular.

Nadine has a solo career of her own in the US - and owns a pub in LA or something. Sarah Harding’s struggled a bit - going in and out of rehab - but has found yoga and seems to be in a good place. Hurrah!

…And let’s not get started on shoe designer, ex-X Factor judge and the ridiculously successful solo artist Cheryl Cole.

Yeah basically they’re all awesome – and back together TODAY (depending on when you’re reading this).

To celebrate, let’s have a look at their BEST and worst looks in pictures. And then scream some more…
