Katy Perry is a regular rival when it comes to the question of ‘who wore it first?’, competing against the likes of Nicole Scherzinger, Kylie and even bessie mate Rihanna. Ashlee Simpson stepped up to the battle this week, wearing a serene number by Temperley London; the same dress Katy wore to ASCAP Pop Music Awards back in April. 1 point to Miss Perry for getting in there first.
We’re asking who wore it best although we have to question if Katy should be deducted by 1 point for a near boob slip! Ashlee wore this flapper style number with minimal jewellery and silver clutch by Judith Leiber to HBO’s Emmy’s after party on Sunday, 23rd September. Of course quirky Katy teamed the romantic, fairytale-esque gown with purple hair which ended up looking more ‘ugly sister’ than ‘Cinderella’, (sorry Katy!). Kudos to Miss Perry for matching the 20’s style dress with pearls, although not the most subtle method of accessorising…
Ashlee’s short up-do definitely works best with this dress, so 1 point. We make that 1-1, but what do you think?
