Now, we're not going to call anyone a sore loser, but did any of you see the look on Simon Cowell face when The X Factor was beaten by Strictly at the National TV Awards last night? It was a fairly unexpected result, mostly because the audience at the Royal Albert Hall were especially vocal in their praise of The X Factor. Seriously, heatworld's ears are still ringing a little. Anyway, when the result was announced, Simon was seen very clearly mouthing "I can't believe it" to those around him, and he later let rip backstage, saying, "It's bad enough losing, but losing to that lot is a nightmare. I'm really p***ed off. I'm not happy." Oh dear... And it would seem Simon's bad mood continued late into the night, but not everyone was given the cold shoulder. Snubbing the official after-party to head to Mr Chow's for a special meal, grumpy Simon only chose to invite two of his fellow X Factor judges, Cheryl Cole and Louis Walsh. Poor old Dannii Minogue was noticeably absent, fuelling rumours of a rift between the pair. In fact, while her colleagues headed off to dinner, Dannii went straight home. One onlooker commented, "It was a little odd. They had reason to celebrate, so a few eyebrows were raised by Dannii's absence." We hope Simon wasn't being too much of a grump – after all, he did win a special award all to himself. If you want to see loads of exclusive backstage pictures and hear all the gossip from the NTAs, make sure you pick up next week's heat. It'll be in the shops on Tuesday.
Did Simon snub Dannii?
