We do feel a bit sorry for Dannii Minogue. She’s been well and truly upstaged by Cheryl Cole on this year’s X Factor and she doesn’t have any acts left in the competition. And now, to make matters worse, her own protégé from last year, Rhydian Roberts, has admitted that he’s a member of Team Chezza too. Oh dear. “This is a tricky one for me,” he reveals in a new interview with Orange. “My loyalty is split because last year Dannii was my mentor. She was gorgeous in every way and fantastic as a mentor. I have to tell you though, Cheryl's hot. I don't want to offend Dannii, but I think I'd have to go for Cheryl. I feel like such a Judas. What I love about Cheryl is that she's actually really really bright. She's gorgeous, funny and a major part of this year's show. I think the majority of people tune in to see her. I know I do.” Ouch! The Rhyddler also revealed two other rather more random facts: 1. He beat Simon Cowell in a press-up competition recently. “He did 25, I did 26,” he says. And 2. “I got given a baby gorilla the other day.” Apparently she’s called Amy and lives in Africa. Er, right. He’s a character, isn’t he?!
