This time last year, The X Factor was all about Leon Jackson, Rhydian Roberts and Same Difference. Doesn't it seem like aaages ago? After the dizzying success of the previous year's winner Leona Lewis, every eye was on new victor Leon Jackson to see if he could follow in her footsteps. However, Leon's success has been rather less stratospheric than Leona's, and his second single was even beaten to the top of the charts by Peter Kay's Geraldine song. Could it be that Mr Jackson is feeling a little frustrated? Well, if these latest quotes are anything to go by then he sounds it. Asked his thought's on this year's X Factor, Leon said, "It gets clouded these days when the judges are having their confrontations. It should be more about the acts." He also refused to back judge Simon Cowell, saying, "Simon has not won for a couple of years since Leona Lewis, but I’d like to see Cheryl Cole win this year. I think she’s done a great job and it would be a great reward for her." Relations between Simon Cowell and Leon are said to be strained after Leon's album Right Now (which heatworld owns, and actually really loves) failed to do as well as Leona's. Are you a Leon fan, or is it all about Alexandra/JLS/Eoghan for you these days?
What's up with Leon?
