We get the impression that the powers-that-be at The X Factor might have a secret favourite – Alexandra. As you’ll know, she’s now bookies’ fave to win the show following her rave reviews for last week’s performances – and now she’s being lined up to perform with none other than Beyonce! Simon Cowell’s working on a deal which will see Miss Knowles (or do we call her Mrs Z now?) singing with Alex – and the girl herself is understandably petrified. “It’s very, very scary,” she says. “I got that news yesterday. It actually shocked me as I wasn’t expecting that.” If she does get to perform with such a megastar, we think it’s only fair if the other contestants get to sing with their idols too – how about an Eoghan and Zac Efron duet, or Diana performing with fellow big-haired hand-waver Kate Bush…?
