Last year's X Factor winner Alexandra Burke is not a fan of the new live auditions, branding the method "scary". She also admits that if she'd had to go through the same process, she may not have even made it through to the finals. "I would never have won with the new format," she admits. "God, it's scary performing in front of Simon full stop. But to perform in front of thousands of people who will judge you is so scary. You can't be everyone's cup of tea. To only have four judges to deal with is better." Despite her reservations, Alexandra admitted she had nothing but respect for this year's hopefuls, saying, "It shows guts and courage.
