When Cheryl chose not to wear her distinctive wedding ring on The X Factor last weekend, it raised quite a few eyebrows. The official excuse was that the huge rock didn't match the rest of her outfit, so she'd taken it off at the last minute. Fair enough. We would never take off our wedding ring because it didn't match our dress, but then we know nothing about fashion. However, if her reason for leaving it off is that it didn't go with her outfit, then why didn't she take it off when she stepped out in this casual ensemble last night? Cheryl's jeans, checked shirt and denim cap collection is perfectly nice – if a little less glam than we're accustomed to – but it definitely does not go that well with her sparkler. Is it just us? Surely a ring like that goes better with a posh designer frock than some old jeans? Maybe it is just us...
