Jamie Archer's popularity has been suffering slightly in recent weeks, and now the man himself has decided that it's all the fault of his mentor Simon Cowell. "I really thought I was a goner on Sunday when I was in the bottom three," says the big-haired rocker. "I looked over at Lucie and the twins and thought, 'There's no way I'm not in the final two'. But when Dermot told me I was through, I thought, 'That's it – I mean business'. I'm doing things my way from now on!" Simon has twice made Jamie change his song at the last minute, and the X Factor hopeful says it's knocked his confidence. His and Simon's friendship suffered another blow last week, after Jamie was offered a slot on Bon Jovi's tour and had to turn it down. He even considered quitting.
