The X Factor twins John and Edward have begged Simon Cowell to let them address the nation on this weekend's show, because they want to make it clear it's not their fault Lucie got the boot. The distraught pair, who were both fighting to hold back their tears after the result was announced on Sunday, are said to be upset by all the stories about it being "a fix" that they're still in the show. Jedward are said to have told Lucie tearfully, "We feel bad. We're so, so sorry that you didn't get through. We think you're going to have a brilliant career and we hope you won't blame us. The last thing we want to do is upset anyone." Sweet Lucie was full of concern for the brothers, saying as she left the X Factor house, "It is not their fault. They were lovely and didn't need to apologise." The pressure is definitely going to be on for the twins this weekend, as on top of the fact they were in the bottom two last week, they also have all this guilt to deal with. Poor things. We hope they know we're supporting them 100 per cent!
