The X Factor's Treyc Cohen (remember her?) is releasing a new single – and we want YOUR views

When Treyc Cohen first sang for the X Factor judges, Cheryl told her it was the “best audition of today”. Treyc sailed through to the final 24 (where they all get to go to the judges “houses”). Off to Barbados with Simon she went. NICE! She sang He Fills Me Up in her final attempt to impress Simon and Sinitta - and she was incredible. Even Simon said at the time, “That was really good.” (OK, not a massive compliment, but he liked it, which is something). However, he failed to put her into the final 12 as he felt she was “missing that star belief”. But move forward a few months and here she is releasing her own single BEFORE the winner of The X Factor will be. Cheeky! Time To Be Heard is Treyc’s first single, and we want to know what YOU think of it! Here at heatworld, we’ve been describing it as “Coldplay with a beat meets Christmas”. Do you think Simon missed out by not putting her through? Are you glad she didn’t go back to her day job of working at a call centre? Have a listen and tell us your views.

Trey is amazing! She is a very close friend of mine and my daughters godmother. She has come so far and its all because she is so hard working! She didn't need X factor to get this far. Simon obviously doesn't appreciate a good thing when he see's one. Miss Cohen will go far! This is only the start xx

Well done to Treyc, it goes to show that Simon does get it wrong sometimes. I like the song, nice festive song and I hope it does well.

She was amazing and should have been put through to the final 12! But i can't help but think this song just sounds a bit thrown together. Yeh its a bit catchy but theres nothing special about it at all.

Well I quite like the song, whether she's been on X Factor or not. It's certainly likely to be more uplifting than the official X Factor xmas song which will monopolise the charts. More power to you Treyc.

I think this is a real 'feel-good' song with a great tune - just what we all need right now. Well done Treyc! x
