We used to think that hanging out backstage at The X Factor would be even more fun than spending all week at heat Towers. Now we think it sounds like more of a nightmare than being stuck in a lift with Jedward after they’d eaten their own bodyweight in sugar.
The reported feuding between judges Kelly Rowland and Tulisa has reached a fever pitch with their stormy relationship now being compared to that of Dannii Minogue and Sharon Osbourne – and those two still don’t get on.
“Kelly was told to ‘stay out of it’ by Tulisa when she offered advice on her acts two weeks ago and it’s been frosty between them ever since,” a source tells The Sunday Mirror. “Kelly’s just not used to this infighting and bitching. She’s feeling extremely uncomfortable with -Tulisa and doesn’t feel like she can approach her to make amends – it’s like Dannii Minogue and Sharon Osbourne all over again.”
Despite her absence this week, Kelly will be back on the show, “Rumours of her quitting are completely untrue. Her doctor has said she needs a few days so we're confident that she will be flying back early next week after her latest check-up,” a spokesperson has confirmed. “She remains in contact with her girls and is fully supporting them this weekend.”
Next weekend it’s Bonfire Night, and we’re certain there will be fireworks backstage when Tulisa and Kelly have to sit together on The X Factor judges table.
