Did anyone else see this one coming? Yes? All of you? Thought so. Well it’s only been a couple days since news broke of Nicole Scherzinger and Lewis Hamilton’s split, but we’re already hearing reports that Nic's X Factor USA work pal Steve Jones has swooped in with all his charm and good looks to cheer young Nicole up. Because obviously, he’s a very good friend and not at all a notorious womaniser.
A blabbermouth source who is rather close to the pair revealed, “Nicole is crushed and has shed so many tears. Steve’s been a shoulder to cry on and a real gent. They have become close and have met up outside the studio. He listens to her and makes her laugh.”
We bet he does. We’ve seen Steve try to make quite a few ladies laugh! But don’t worry folks (which we’re sure you were doing), the source in question says Steve’s friendship with Nicole is “all very innocent” and he’s just being a very good friend.
But an X Factor USA show insider has admitted things could change at any time in that department. “There is unmistakable chemistry there,” they explained. “Steve flirts with her whenever he can but she laughs it off.”
Well Steve loves a good old fashioned flirt, that much we know. And actually, we are really sad about Nicole and Lewis breaking up due to work commitments. We thought they'd get married! Hopefully they will manage to sort it out one day. After all, it wasn’t that long ago when Lewis was telling Jonathan Ross that he was with the most beautiful girl in the world! Sob.
