The X Factor: YOUR verdict on guest judge Alexandra Burke

After a day of gossip, speculation and drama surrounding Kelly Rowland and her absence from last night’s X Factor live show, we want to know what you thought of her temporary replacement, Alexandra Burke.

As a former X Factor champion Alex seemed like a logical replacement for Kelly, but was she actually any good? We loved that she started her stint as a guest judge by telling Tulisa and Louis that she wouldn’t be taking any nonsense from them. But the reaction on Twitter wasn’t quite so positive, with many of you tweeting us during the show to say how you weren’t really loving her as a judge.

In the words of Kelly, did Alexandra “put it down”? Or do you think she’s about a popular as Kitty Brucknell?

SueDixie @heatworld Can't see the need to have anyone fill in.The other judges could have introduced the girls,at least they know them, Alex doesn't.

    I never liked her, I didn't want her to win the X Factor but JLS are more successful than her anyway so that worked out in the end. She always tries to have attitude and it doesn't come naturally to her, it's so embarrassing and she was so condescending towards the contestants. She had a lot to live up to standing in for Kelly, and she failed miserably. Shut it Burke, go back under whatever rock you crawled out from!

    Apparently she can be a bit of a madam at times. I didn't think she did too bad a job on the X Factor. Although the "ok.com" comment was a bit cringey but it was probably something that just slipped out. I did think however, that she should have been the one to choose who to send home (Sophie or Misha) but Kelly muscled in by phone, but then they are Kelly's acts, I suppose. It just seemed like that when it came down to the nitty gritty, Alexandra wasn't really allowed to do the job properly after all. She was probably relieved not to have had to make that choice though.

    I have never wanted to smack someone so hard in the face since the Tweedy was on the show. Alexandra Burke is a horrid know-it-all, gob-shitey smart arse and I am not surprised nearly everyone on the kinkerweb wanted to kill her. To summarise - full of crap and overconfident without the success or experience to back it up imo.

    Are things that bad over at Xfactor that they are having to drudge up ex contestants?? Surely there was someone more worthy of the place even Nicole Shitsinger would have been an improvement?

    She was ok i think.Not amazing but not horrible either.Get rid off Louis though.Have to fast forward his comments every time.Makes me cringe so bad.Someone should count how many times he used this comment ''You've got the voice,you've got the look,you've got it all.'' What a twat.
