OMG! Bad boy Frankie Cocozza has been sensationally booted off of the X Factor The Sun is reporting!

No specific reason for the cheeky chap being kicked off of the talent show has been given, although insiders are saying that he has broken a "golden rule".

The former X Factor contestant reportedly told his mentor Gary Barlow that he wanted to quit last week, but now he has ironically been shown the door.

The 18-year-old had apparently upset show bosses with his constant partying and boozing, it could be that the wild nights out have attributed to him being asked to leave the show. Watch this space.

UPDATE! Official statement from X Factor and Frankie...

“I’d like to apologise to Gary, my fellow contestants and everyone who has voted for me, but, as of today (TUES), I will no longer be in The X Factor. My life during the show has gone out of control and my behaviour off stage has over-stepped the rules of the competition. I no longer deserve my place in the show, so I am therefore leaving. I would like to thank everyone who has supported me.”

An X Factor spokesperson said: “Frankie is leaving the show today after breaking competition rules. He is going to take some time out before continuing his career as a singer. We wish him all the best for his future.”
