The backstage drama on The X Factor just doesn’t stop! The final isn’t over and done with yet, but there’s already some speculation going on about next year’s show, and apparently head judge Gary Barlow WON’T return to the talent contest unless Louis Walsh is sacked! *Shockedface*
According to reports Gary has already been approached by head honcho Simon Cowell, and Gaz has made it clear that Lou Lou has to go if he’s to return,
“Gary and Louis have completely different ideas of what this show is all about. Gary wants it to be a credible singing contest and Louis sees it as entertainment,” a snitch tells The Sunday Mirror.
“Although he’s been outspoken defending his acts and criticising other people’s, Gary hates all the pantomime rowing and thinks Louis is behind most of it.The thought of another year with Louis is just too much for him to bear. He says he will only consider coming back if Louis leaves.”
But if Louis wasn’t on the panel, who’d make increasingly more ridiculous comparisons about the acts on the show? “You’re like a little Lenny Henry” is our all-time favourite X Factor quote!
Do you think it’s time for Louis to leave? Should Simon sack his pal to make Gary happy? Or maybe you think The X Factor wouldn’t be the same without Louis?
UPDATE: Gary Barlow has rubbished rumours from today's papers that said he wouldn't return to The X Factor if Louis stayed on. In actual fact, Gary said on tonight's The Xtra Factor, that he pnly wouldn't return if Louis wasn't still on the panel. Yay! We knew Barlow and Walsh were pals really...
