Kelly Rowland has recently hinted that she will seriously consider moving to the UK in order to secure her a place on next year’s X Factor panel.
The former Destiny’s child star told The Daily Mirror, "I'm definitely considering buying a house over here as I love it here.” She added "My mother would have a problem with me moving because it's so far away from home so she may have to move with me. She doesn't like that long plane ride so I've got to make sure I make her happy."
Kelly joined fellow panel judges Louis Walsh, Gary Barlow and Tulisa Contostavlos for this series of X Factor. Although Simon Cowell has yet to confirm next year’s lineup, Kelly has made no effort to conceal her intention to return.
She said “There is no place like the UK X Factor. If Simon wants me back next year then that would be good.”
X Factor fans questioned whether Kelly was under the influence after a few random comments on X Factor's final. Kelly responded ““Nice try, but I wasn’t under the influence in ANY way... just overwhelmed by the crowd cheers.”
Simon Cowell likes a bit of banter and controversy between his judges and this year’s X Factor certainly wasn’t lacking media attention. A source tells the Mirror "Kelly's banter with Louis is also a bonus."
