The X Factor bosses are pulling out all the stops to make sure that this year’s final at Wembley Arena is the most exciting, most talked about TV event of the year.
Not only are all the judges reportedly singing with their contestants (see today’s 9 0’Clock news for all the details), but now we’re hearing that One Direction and JLS – who are both due to appear in the show along with Coldpay, Michael Buble and Leona Lewis – are planning something very special indeed! A supergroup!
The bands will merge into one, performing a mash up of two of their biggest hits together,
"It's no secret that 1D and JLS have been booked for the final — but we're ratcheting things up a notch. The lads thought it would be a great idea if they all did a song together.
"Producers worked out that it would probably be best if they used their own songs. They were all locked down in a central London studio on Tuesday working on it. The songs go well together. It could change but that's where we are right now," an insider has sneakily told The Sun.
If the boys managed to successfully pull this off, then the OneDJLS (that’s what we’re calling them now) band could be one of the major highlights of the weekend!
