We’re used to seeing the lovely Little Mix ladies dressed down in trainers, but the girls have been given a sleek, sophisticated look for a brand new photo shoot with fashion bible Grazia! Dressed up in outfits by Kate Middleton’s favourite designer, the girls all look stunning in Alexander McQueen.
Winning girl’s votes
Asl well as getting all dressed up, the girls also mused over their success on The X Factor, and put down their ability to win votes from other girls to their non-threatening image,
“There is stigma and I don’t know why. Maybe girl groups seem threatening to other girls – and that’s mostly who votes – maybe because they’re dressed up all sexy,’ says Jade. “We aren’t very sexy, that’s just not us, We don’t act like we’ve got to impress anyone and we’re just… silly. Once we realised we had girls’ votes on our side, once we felt we had that support, it was amazing! Because it’s about time, isn’t it? That girls liked girls?”
Good role models
As well as shunning the sexy image that most popstars go for, the Little Mix girls also admit that they’re very well behaved, staying away from booze and boys,
“Me and Jesy don’t drink alcohol,” Perrie tells Grazia. “None of us have ever smoked a cigarette. There are no boys for us, we’re going to be like nuns. Boys are off the menu, yes! We’re just focusing on this.”
