There have been some seriously bad auditions in the history of The X Factor, but none so terrible that ALL the judges have walked out. But they like to do things bigger and better in the US.
According to reports one wannabe pop star at the auditions in Kansas City (where Louis Walsh is a stand-in judge, more on that below) was so dire that all the judges – that’s Britney Spears, Demi Lovato, LA Reid and Louis – walked off before he’d even finished singing.
American Gossip site TMZ reports that a man walked on stage and boasted that he’s “better and Chris Brown”, before closing his eyes and singing with his back to the judges. The panel did take kindly to the contestant's brand of audio atrociousness and walked out.
We couldn’t quite believe it when we heard that Louis Walsh would be standing in for a poorly Simon Cowell at the X Factor USA auditions in Kansas City.
Now we’ve seen a pictures of Louis grinning next to fellow judges Britney Spears, LA Reid and Demi Lovato we still can’t quite believe it. It’s our little Louis is the big ole US of A, standing next to Britney flipping Spears! Amazingness! Total and utter amazingness!
And not only did Louis fill in for boss man Simon Cowell, he also made himself totally at home and was a hit with both the judges and the audience.
Britney and Demi both tweeted to their millions of followers about their ‘new friend’ Louis, with Britney re-tweeting and adding to Demi’s message on the social networking site,
“We'll miss u Louis! See u soon @SimonCowell... RT @ddlovato Thanks Kansas City...what a great night!!!! Louis - I will miss you new friend!!”
While Britney also cheekily tweeted about her absent boss, “I can't believe I'm actually saying this...but I miss @SimonCowell. Hope you feel better soon!”
The official X Factor USA Instagram also featured several pictures of Louis, including one of him signing autographs for fans. Way to go Lou Lou!
