Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne have been the best of friends since they both sat on the X Factor judge’s panel together.

Now, Louis wants Sharon back for the Judges’ Houses stage of the competition for this year’s series… and the only thing standing in his way is boss Simon Cowell.

Sharon last joined Louis in 2010, but you might remember during last year’s Judges’ Houses Louis teamed up with Sinitta. The 80s pop star traditionally joined Simon at his home, but with his departure from the show Simon asked (told?) Louis to team up with his ex-girlfriend.

However, this year Louis wants things to be different – he wants to get his own way and to either fly his as yet undetermined category to one of Sharon’s US homes or his own on pad in Miami.

“In Louis’ head he’s already there but he needs Simon’s ok,” an X Factor insider tells The Sun.

As hilarious as Sinitta is (we still chuckle at memory of her palm leaf bikini), we’d love to see Louis and Sharon reunited as they’re always good value together.

Boot Camp moves to Liverpool

The Boot Camp stage of The X Factor is due to kick off from next week, but for the first time it won’t be held in London.

Because of the Olympics it has proved impossible for the show’s producers to find accommodation in the capital for the 200 odd pop star hopefuls as all the hotels in are booked up.

We don’t care where Boot Camp happens, we just want wait for The X Factor to be back on our screens!
