The music business can be a tough place, as 60 X Fatcor hopefully have found out.
The Boot Camp stage of this year’s X Factor is happening in Liverpool right now, but 60 singers needn’t have even bothered packing their bags, as they were sent home before they even sang a note.
“It was carnage. They were told there would be an important announcement. They went out on stage to face Tulisa, Louis Walsh, Gary Barlow and Nicole Scherzinger- and then the bombshell. There were looks of shock on people's faces. Even the judges looked upset,” a source tells The Sun.
“The cull was said to have been ordered by show boss Simon Cowell as he wants to ensure only the very best talent makes it through to the final stages of the show this year.”
See? We said it was harsh!
The source added: “Some of the contestants who got a yes at their first auditions, when seen side by side against the others, were not of a good enough standard.”
All of which means that this year’s show won’t be short on tears, tantrums and drama… Just how we like it!
