X Factor judge Louis Walsh has put his foot down and said that when his contestants head out to Las Vegas for Judges’ Houses there will be a strict curfew to stop them ‘doing a Prince Harry’.
Harry was recently photographed partying naked during a jaunt to Sin City, bringing much embarrassment to the Royal Family, and Louis is worried his contestants will do the same.
Naughty.
Contestants playing the fool and getting into trouble is a bigger worry for Louis as he is apparently in charge of the groups this year, therefore he has more people to keep an eye on.
Louis is filming in Vegas this week and has warned his group that they must be tucked up in bed by 10pm, telling them: “Don’t let us catch you doing a Prince Harry.”
When his contestants arrived on Saturday night, they were told: “What happens in Vegas does NOT stay in Vegas when you’re on The X Factor — so don’t get caught out.”
Louis gets tough
At the X Factor launch Louis said he was toughening up this year and he won’t be taken for a ride by any of his group.
“I like them to care about the music and be 100 per cent professional.
“I wouldn’t have time for someone who is hungover.”
Very naughty.
X Factor bosses want to avoid another scandal like the one which saw Frankie Cocozza kicked off last year’s show for boasting about his cocaine-fuelled sex romps.
Naughty.
An insider said: “The acts were excited — some of them haven’t been to the States before and they wanted to go into the bright lights of the big city.
“Louis has already said that his acts are ‘not here to party’.
“They were told they had to be back at the hotel by 10pm.
“After the photos of Prince Harry naked in his Vegas hotel room recently, bosses did not want the same happening with their acts.”
Producers of the show have said the contestants might have a chance to let their hair down on the last night of their trip – if they behave themselves that is.
“The groups were disappointed, but on the last night there may be more of a chance for some supervised fun — once the hard work is out the way.”
The insider added: “The acts must remember this is a family show and they can’t be seen in compromising situations.”
