Some absolutely AMAZING news for last night’s star of The X Factor auditions, Lucy Spraggan. She’s in the iTunes charts less than 24 hours after wowing the judges and the audience both at the audition in Manchester and at home.
Lucy, 20 from Sheffield, performed her-self penned track Last Night, which she explained was about ‘beer fear’ – waking up the morning after a night out and worrying about what you’ve done. Listing a number of boozy drinks in the song, Gary Barlow joked that it sounded like an average night out for Tulisa Contostavlos.
The track is now at Number Five in the iTunes Chart below Little Mix at one, Sam And The Womp, and then Owl City And Carly Rae Jepsen, and Rita Ora at Number Four.

Lucy released Last Night for download last year, and also has an album out called Top Room At The Zoo which fans are now rushing out to buy. The album is already in the iTunes Album chart at Number Three; the cheeky singer is behind Little Mixes’ Wings (Remixes) EP and Now That’s What I Call Music! 82.
During last night’s show Lucy was tweeting as her songs climbed the charts, “Number 5. You lot are absolutely amazing. #beerfear,”she wrote along with a screengrab of the iTunes chart.
What did you think of Lucy? Could she be a potential winner? We loved her.
