According to the bystander who filmed the video, Jahmene was out shopping with his mum three years ago, when they came across a band called Mr Woodnote And The Bonobo Hobos busking.
After a member of the audience had asked the group to join in and was allowed, Jahmene's mum talked Jahmene into doing the same.
As a result, Jahmene started singing with the group as a crowd gathered to hear his voice.
