WOW! What an honour for The X Factor's Jahmene Douglas!
We saw on last night's Halloween episode of The X Factor that Jahmene was asked by the Hollywood legend Samuel L Jackson to sing at the Shooting Stars charity event.
The Snakes on a Plane star was in London for the Shooting Stars Benefit, which is an event that raises money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
The event took place at London's Corinthia Hotel where The X Factor contestants are staying.
Former X Factor winner Alexandra Burke also graced the events' stage with her vocals.
Jahmene said of Samuel, "He’s the man! I’m going to start calling him Uncle Samuel. He came over and offered me his seat, what a guy! Samuel was very down-to-earth and it was an honour to perform for him."
Although he seems more than competent on stage when he sings, Jahmene admits, "I’m still over-whelmed. I struggled to contain my emotions on stage after my performance. The warmth from the audience and judges touched me deeply and almost set me off. I view life through a positive lens. I embrace happiness and wish the same for everyone around me."
