The moment Gary Barlow switched from that nice-man-who-your-nan-just-loves into a Mean Girl that would make Regina George proud.
“I don’t know what’s offended me more - what you said or the fag ash breath,” the normally mild-mannered Take That star joked to a stunned Tulisa.
And now fellow judge Louis Walsh has spoken exclusively to <heat> about the incident dubbed ‘Fag Ash Breath-Gate’.
Speaking to us at the Pride Of Britain Awards last night, cheeky Louis told us: "Look, we were all thinking it, but I just would never have been brave enough myself to say it!
“Was Tulisa OK about it? Of course she wasn't!
“Is she now? Of course not!
“It's getting to that stage now that we all want to win and things are getting really tough, I'm not surprised there's fireworks going on the panel!"
And Tulisa herself still didn’t appear to be entirely over Gary’s personal jibe despite jokingly wearing a nicotine patch on the following night’s show.
She said: “He made a stupid mistake, and he's apologised. Let's just wait and see what happens next week."
