MK1 have been voted off The X Factor! In what proved to be a bit of a shock – Christopher Maloney was the bookies favourite to go – the urban twosome ended up in the bottom two alongside Kye Sones.
Last night, their mash up of the Crystal Waters club classic with Tinie Tempah’s modern classic Pass Out got a mixed response from the judges. Tulisa loved the first half of the performance but didn’t like them covering Pass Out and not putting their own stamp on the song.
When it came down to the sing-off, MK1 went for The Script’s Man Who Can’t Be Moved (kind of an odd choice), while Kye sang I Can’t Make You Love Me.
Louis Walsh saved his own act, while Gary Barlow saved his. Of course. Nicole Scherzinger then saved Kye, while Tulisa saved MK1, who she said were an N-Dubz in the making.
With two votes each this meant that the vote went to deadlock FOR THE THIRD WEEK IN A ROW!!!!
The public had it’s say, sending home Charlie and Sim, and just about leaving Gary with two acts rather than one. Phew!
