Nicole Scherzinger has swirled her tea leaves and looked into her crystal ball and invoked feverish visions by getting totalled on opium and foreseen that no, Rylan Clark will not win The X Factor this year.
"I don't think Rylan's head space is, 'I'm going to win'," she told The Sun. "He just wants to give the best performance every week and prove that he is not there as a joke."
What she is probably referring to is that fact that already this series Rylan has traumatised a sofa by screaming at it, sang a Back For Good/Gangnam Style mash-up and got so drunk he had to switch hotels. Apparently that constitutes 'not wanting to win'.
So who will be in the final, oh mystic one? Well according to Nicole, hot-favourite Ella Henderson will join her own acts James Arthur and Jahmene Douglas in the final three. And the band with an outside shot of lasting the distance? Those wee Union J boys. "Don't underestimate them," says Nicole.
Now we don't know about you but one of the most prominent people on the entire X Factor production has basically just told us who is going to win it. Is that… is that legal? Is that okay? She has basically just told us, through the medium of The Sun newspaper, that Ella, James or Jahmene will be Christmas Number One this year. WE HAVE TO ACT ON THIS INSIDER KNOWLEDGE.
