Both Tulisa Contostavlos and Nicole Scherzinger have accused X Factor act Christopher Maloney of being cheesy, and apparently Simon Cowell agrees.
The X Factor boss reportedly thinks that the 34-year-old singer makes the show seem dated and cheesy, The Mirror reports.
“Chris winning or even getting further into the competition is a disaster for Cowell,” an insider blabs.
“He wants Chris out and the fact that his mentor is Gary Barlow makes him even more desperate to get him kicked off.”
and Ah, yes – the alleged feud between Gary Simon. According to the source, Gary losing another of his acts would be the cherry on the cake for Simon. And Simon is thought to be calling and texting Gary’s rival judges and asking them to criticise cheesy Christopher.
Christopher has been the bookies’ favourite to leave the competition, and this week he has odds of 5/2 of being the next singer to get the boot, but the voting public seem to love him.
