The X Factor VOTE: Carolynne Poole goes home, Rylan Clark saved – was Louis right to go to deadlock?

x factor 2012 week one deadlock vote

It’s only week one of The X Factor live shows, and already we’ve got controversy, drama and a judge storming off!

Carolynne Poole was sent home last night after a very tense, not to mention, confusing and controversial results show. After a great deal of ‘umm-ing’ and ‘ahh-ing’ Louis Walsh first seemed to save the 32-year-old country singer, but when pushed by host Dermot O’Leary his answer changed and he then decided to take the vote to deadlock, meaning the act with the lowest public votes would go home.

Rylan Clark was saved and Gary Barlow stormed off the stage in disgust as his act was sent home.

Then there’s the mysterious man – thought to be show boss Richard Holloway – who was seen talking to Louis before the judges had to vote for who they wanted to send home. What was that about? X Factor conspiracy theorists are having a field day…

The question now is was Louis right to send the vote to deadlock, or should he grown some of those balls that Nicole Scherzinger is always talking about and actually made a decision?

We want your votes...
