Ella Henderson’s currently the favourite to win this year’s X Factor competition, so she’ll need a fitting celebrity to duet with if/when she gets to the final.
With X Factor boss Simon Cowell being confident she’ll get to the final three at the very least, he’s got Beyonce lined up top duet with her.
A show source revealed: “We are delighted to get Beyonce on the show because she is such a huge crowd pleaser and will make sure the final goes with a bang.”
That ought to give The X Factor a helping hand in beating Strictly Come Dancing in the ratings war.
“The show is still in its early stages, but Simon hasn’t wasted any time in trying to line up acts for the final,” the source told The Sun.
“He wants to get in there before Strictly.”
But this won’t be the first time the US megastar has teamed up with a contestant on the talent show – Beyonce sang her song Listen with Alexandra Burke in 2008 before she went on to win.
And show bosses are hoping Bey will impress even more this time around.
“The last time she sang with Alexandra it was incredible and we hope to have her sing a duet again,” the insider added.
“Ella is the one most likely to sing with her because hearing their voices together would be just amazing.”
X Factor bosses are hoping to bag a number of other big names for the final, which will be held in Manchester on 8 and 9 December.
