With all the controversy surrounding The X Factor this year, is Gary Barlow ready to quit the show and return to his day job? His day job being a member of Take That, of course.
The Take That boys – that’s Gary, Mark Owen, Jason Orange, Howard Donald and Robbie Williams – have all met up over the past few weeks to discuss the band’s future plans, and it looks like we can expect a new album and a tour *tries to contain excitement. Fails. Runs round the office cheering*. But this could mean no more X Factor for Gaz Baz in the future.
“The events of the last week have really confirmed in Gary’s mind that he needs to get back to what he loves best,” a source tells The Sun.

“Gary is going to give this series his all and then it will be full steam ahead for Take That. The lads are enjoying a bit of freedom at the moment, but they are all united in their desire to get Take That back on the road.
“A new album and tour have been discussed and all five of the boys are making really positive noises.”
Could this really spell the end of Gary’s time on The X Factor? He did manage to juggle his judging duties with Take That’s Progress tour last year, with the auditions scheduled to fit in with Take That’s tour dates.
Would you be sad to see Gary go? He does make for a very credible judge after all.
