The X Factor’s Rylan Clark and Christopher Maloney are reported to be in each other’s throats after a huge bust up back stage this week. The pair are polar opposites so it’s no surprise that as the competition heats up, tempers may be getting a tad frayed behind the scenes.
Handbags on cue…
With Jahmene Douglas reportedly refusing to sing tonight’s opening song because of it’s boozy connotations, this alleged bust up must be causing no end of grief for the production crew.
“Christopher has been really bugging Rylan backstage - and Chris isn't everyone else's favourite contestant either.”
“The two of them have really clashed over the past week, culminating in a massive fight.”
Let's hope they kiss and make up soon.
However, according to the source, it’s not just Rylan that is getting on Chris’ nerves. Gary Barlow has reportedly annoyed the Liverpudlian as he juggles his job on the X Factor with other work commitments.
“Gary’s currently working on his solo tour while he performs his duties as an X Factor judge and mentor.”
“But Chris has been saying he’s annoyed that he’s had no contact with Gary all week. He’s been feeling neglected and doesn’t want this to have a negative impact on his performance on this week’s show.”
The former cruise ship singer has been heavily criticised for the last couple of weeks, then again the 34-year-old has never come across as the most popular contestant on the show. However, with the bookmakers, the singer’s popularity seems to be soaring.
His odds to win the show have been cut from 66/1 to 14/1 during the competition, with a spokesman for William Hill saying, “rumours suggest that he is actually leading the votes on a weekly basis.”
Going into the seventh show tonight – will be stay? Or will he be making a shock exit?
