Tulisa Contostavlos is going to take time out from holding her arm up and being mean to Christopher Maloney tonight by performing live on the X Factor semi final results show. That's the good news.
The bad news is that the X Factor judge fears her album - due out tomorrow - will fail to trouble the Top Ten, despite tonight's high-profile appearance.
And sources close to the star fear such a chart failure could prove embarrassing for Tulisa during a crucial period, as X Factor bosses look to next year's show with plans for a rumoured rejig in the judging line-up.
"We’re not thinking it will be No1," a source told The Sun. "That's never going to happen. It won’t be top five in a million years. But hopefully it will make the top ten."
“The X Factor thing is a risk as it might not translate into sales and everyone will just slag off her performance if it's anything less than brilliant.” Twitter. They mean Twitter. Everyone on Twitter is mean.
It's always a bit weird when an X Factor judge creaks up out of their chair and slips backstage and dons harem pants and sings, so Tulisa is going to have to pull something pretty impressive out of the bag if she's going to wow the audience. Tutu, some advice: it is never too late to do a duet with Rylan.
