X Factor contestant Chris Maloney felt the full wrath of a fed up producer after turning up late again for rehearsals.
The Scouser was pulled aside by frustrated executive producer Mark Sidaway, who appeared to be at the end of his tether with the 34 year old’s atrocious timekeeping.
Pulling the X Factor hopeful aside, Sidaway launched into a rant calling his behaviour ‘f***ing unacceptable’.
A source told the Daily Mirror: “This rant from Mark Sidaway was totally unfair. Chris walked in a few minutes late and he was swearing and being aggressive.”
The source added: “It hurt him and made him consider if he should carry on. Others are late and nothing is said.”
According to reports, this was the fourth time Chris was late for rehearsals, delaying fellow contestants by an hour.
As well as being consistently booed by the audience for remaining on the show, Maloney has reportedly become very unpopular backstage because of his treatment of the crew and fellow performers.
Gary Barlow’s only remaining act, and the oldest of the contestants, Maloney has been accused of having a cabaret style. Sunday’s show saw District 3 eliminated, and Maloney being heavily booed by the audience.
District 3 however jumped to his defence telling Digital Spy what a great guy he is.
Band member Micky Parsons said: “I don't like it when people boo. It's really rude in a sense. It's not very nice.”
“To be on that stage is so scary as it is and then to be booed, it's horrible."
