I'm actually reading the Harry Potter books at the moment. I'm up to Order of the Phoenix and i'm loving them. I've never read the books or seen the movies so i'm really enjoying them! Is this weird for someone who is 23?

It's not weird at all, but you haven't read the books or seen the films until now??? My lord kelly, you have robbed yourself of twelve years of brilliance (and eight years of the wonder that is the films.) I think I have read most of the books at least eight times each, maybe not so many for OOTP, HBP and DH. Anyone else think that Malfoy has grown into a really good looking man?

I'm reading three (depends on what mood I'm in as to what I want to read), The Magicians by Lev Grossman which is about magicians who train in a secret school a la Harry Potter but then progresses into what happens after they graduate and accidentally discover a fantasy word which previously only existed in a series of books. Not quite finished but can hardly put it down, worth a gander. Also reading Markus Zusak's The Book Thief, hard going to start off with but worth persevering plus Starting Over by Tony Parsons which I'm not all that keen on but once I start a book I have to finish it, just in case it gets better!!
Previous posts have mentioned the new Stephanie Meyer book The Host, I think this is better written than the Twilight saga. I love an alien love story!!

I'm reading Porno by Irvine Welsh. It's the sequel to Trainspotting, it's actually amazing.

A thread of mine is still here!!!!
Just finished "This Charming Man" and it was a long hard slog but got there in the end. Just started "Empty Cradles" by Margaret Humpreys all about so called orphans (but who did have families) dumped on ships and sent off to Austrailia by the British Government who didn't know what else to do with them. Heartbreaking.

Mutley!! Long time, no speak! I loved 'This Charming Man' - what did you find long/hard about it? I hope you thought it was worthwhile in the end!

I'm currently hooked on Love Lies by Adele Parks - it's trashy as hell but so easy to read and I can't put it down! It's all about a normal girl who falls in love with a pop legend who proceeds to propose to her at Wembley stadium in front of 90,000 scereaming fans, after having only met her 3 days prior....

I started it on Sunday and hoping to finish it by tomorrow as Kells is desperate to read it next (in a bid to fulfill her Robbie Williams fantasy!!) and hopefully I can give it to her in time for the weekend. Has anyone else read it?

I finished Love Lies on Friday - it was very good but I could guess the ending a mile off! Now onto Remember Me? by Sophie Kinsella...

I'm reading The Men Who Stare at Goats by Jon Ronson. Random but amusing! Plus Life of Pi for the 3rd time cos I haven't read it for a while. And Rumour has It by Jill Mansell which isn't as good as she normally is...

I'm reading the Bible of Jedwardism. Did you know that John is older than Edward by ten minutes?
