I actually got to see Amy Winehouse perform last year and she was fantastic - never mind all the stuff to do with her private life. She had the audiencce in the palm of her hand. UNfortunately there were a few Amy wannabees in there so it was a bit hard to see over the beehives at times!

What's the best gig you've ever been to?

I went to see the Red Hot Chili Peppers a few years back in Hyde Park. It was wicked! They also had the legend that was James Brown as their supporting act and he was frickin brilliant too! It was the biggest gig I have ever been to, 85,000 people. So I ended up losing everyone I was with

I go to lots of gigs.....it'll be 60 in a few weeks! Live music is my passion

Best band is definitely Green Day. I've seen them 8 times, including the 2 Milton Keynes bowl gigs. Amazing. They're the only band who can be in huge venues like that but make you feel as if they're playing to you in your front room. Billie Joe has amazing stage presence and control of the crowd. I've seen them at Manchester Trafford cricket ground, Leeds fest, MEN twice, Nottingham, Birmingham and Milton Keynes. Best live band, EVER.

Top 5 live bands:
Green Day
New Found Glory
Lostprophets
Less than Jake
Reel Big Fish

Worst one has to be Oasis. Big let down. I saw them in 2006 (i think) in Manchester. Liam's voice is shite now, he can't be arsed. Noel's good but the band as a whole have lost it. I wish I'd seen them 10 years ago, would've been much better. Also the crowd were full of meatheads who just jumped up and down. Boring. I like a bit of dancing and moshing!

I love live music too and I've seen most bands but I haven't seen Green Day. They're on my hit list!

blink 182 at leeds festival
brand new at brixton academy
red hot chilis at dom valley stadium... it was like a mini festival! so good.

Hi Yorky.

I went to see Marilyn Manson a couple of weeks ago and that was the best concert I've ever been to.

Took me a while but I got here in the end hon.

Manson was really awesome and the whole concert just flew by.  I thought he'd only been on stage about 20 minutes but it was actually over 2 hours.

Weren't they shit! Some random german electro punk/rock band if I remember correctly. Fancy having them supporting you along with James Brown! I remember people at the front were throwing bottles at them! LOL!
