i was doing my usual shopping in asda, and decided to have a few grapes from the punnet of them i put into my basket, next thing i know, as im leaveing the store, i was pulled back in by sum over sized "lesbian" accuseing me of stealing, i was dragged into the office, and had to wait there for an hour and half, while the police came, and i was searched and had to prove that everything i had on me was infact mine.
eventually i was aloud to go home, but i was barred from the store, and i have bruises on my arm were the **** grabbed me.
So, next time u go shopping, DO NOT EAT ANY GRAPES, even if they are in ur basked

So just because she's female and a security guard that automatically makes her a lesbian does it?

Grapes are sold by weight, so it is stealing, infact anything you eat before you pay for it is stealing, even if you pay for the empty packet, most shops don't mind, but obviously if it is a weight item like grapes they are going to weigh less without those few you ate.
It is all really daft over a few grapes tho, but M&S are notorious for the same attitude.
I always load my shopping on the pushchair when I go shopping, putting heavy items in the basket at the bottom till I get to the checkout, my local shops know me so never say anything, but they did have a new security guard in Sainsburys this week, and he was loitering around the checkout when I got to it to make sure I put the vodka up (it had a security tag on it FFS!!!, As I have young kids and don't drive, I have always done it this way, (although I don't usually buy vodka, but it was to put by for Crimbo) so I did get slightly annoyed

It does seem a tad extreme for a few grapes though! Its kind of like an unspoken given that people will nibble on a few grapes whilst walking round. I've been guilty of it a few times!

I can understand that was annoying but he was only doing his job! Just think how many people do try to hide things in their prams!

You clearly knew what I meant, my phone is on predictive text but either way my point is made and is more worthy than anything you've said.
