Ginge, my friend works in Boots and I asked her on facebook and the globes were collectors and what ever stock they had left after the promotion of the perfume had to be sent back to supplier. I don't know where you could get one unless you ask on the official site.

I'd love to know how all those who have brought them get on. They look great but how do they stay put on top of your head?Does the weight of your hair hold them down?

Having read this thread (and discovering you weren't all talking about bum-pits lol) I ordered a set on e-bay at the weekend. I am so excited to try them out but am a bit worried as to how comfortable they are, if they stay in, and how much it hurts if you knock it?! RoyalG - let me know how you get on!!

Ok i tired them in this am, but didn't have much time, i think they will look better with a bit of patience, cos i could see part of the bumpit colour under neath.
the tiny bupits look best to me for doing a big bump at the front of your head (sounds great that dont it) and i think for abit of lift i put them in at the sides andit looked good not too over the top.
i think you have to be carful you dont end up with a big bump and nothing at the back of your head, i have extentions in and this could make my hair look more fake and devided.
The bigest bumpit i doubt i will use it except for a ball or what ever too bee hivey for me

Ginge, i've been giving mine lots of trials behind closed doors (woah look at me going all Andre!) I can only get on with the medium one. I really want to try that look on the bottom of the instructions, with the curls and all pinned up, but I fear I may go OTT on the hairspray!

I keep seeing the adverts on TV (I'm in America at the moment), and really really really want to order them! I'm so so bad at hair, so I need to know if they're easy to use? There's a special offer here; buy 1 set for $9.99, get a second set free, PLUS something for your ponytail too (i dont know what?!)
Keep us informed ladies, i'm dying to know how they work out for you!

You just seperate a section at the crown and put the bumpit in and use the seperated hair to cover it, then kill the ozone layer with hairspray overuse to keep it in place. I find if you backcomb the base of the hair infront of the bumpit a little it helps grip it better and more likely to stay in place. The pack I got comes with full instructions and how to do different styles anyway. They are dead easy to use, just takes a bit of practise to perfect it (still trying! lol)

I'm gonna wear mine out tommorrow night, so when I'm all dolled up I may get a pic took and put it on here. Defo will not do one without full face. I had to run to the shop round the corner last night, and I went without any makeup on with my hair tied up looking rough. THE SHAME!!!!, I have never left the house without full face since I discovered the joys of makeup!

My bumpits have just arrived! I've had a quick play around but without a comb, hairspray and mirror, I didn't really get the results I was after, just lots of laughter from my friends lol! I don't understand why they think that pale pink colour will go with blonde hair though?! I think I need to have a proper play with them tonight and try out some styles. I think they will be very good for party hair though - my hair usually goes so flat after a bit of dancing, so will be good to have some permenant volume!!
