Hey all
I Found this photoshoot of Natalie Portman from V Magazine on one of my favourite sites Stylenoir.co.uk
I love her look and was just wondering what everyone else thought of her androgynous style and hair?

you wouldn't catch me looking like a man, I get confused with boys who dress like girls (we haveone in our small town who favours womens jeans, lipstick and has pink hair!) and girls who look like boys i think look slightly butch lesbo. I like looking feminine, showing my curves, not drowning them in some oversized sack.

On some people it totally works but it's not for me at all, I'm very girly.

I think it depends on your face and your figure. You need to have a very petite figure to pull it off, and you need to have very feminine, elfin facial features - big eyes, small features and amazing cheekbones. If you don't look like this then it would just look very butch.

I've seen girls look absolutely stunning with this kind of style, but on me it wouldn't work - I'm too tall and don't have the right kind of face to pull it off.

Dungarees and timbalands on a woman are a huge no no.
But boyfriend jeans can look nice if you are accesorised well and have good hair and make up.
And short hair only works well with the elfin look, as scarlet pointed out.

Kiera Knightly had this kinda look in Domino and she looked really cool-although I'd personally never go for this look for myself, I could never pull it off to look good.

scar, in all honesty, you'd do a wayyyyy better job of pulling the look of than I could. lol.
being nearly 6 foot tall means there is no way I can try to look androgynous without looking like Alex Reid on a ladies night!

@ Catnap, I remember the Knightly one.. that's exactly the type of look I mean. I suppose it is only the quirky models that forward it.

& @ pandariffic not sure who you are calling a spambot?
